DOMESTIC (INSIDE EGYPT) TOURISM DEPARTMENT

Iman (pronounced "Ee-man'") Abdel Wahed graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Ein Shams University in 1983 with a degree in English Literature. She has been employed in Cairo in the tourism industry since 1983, and she joined Egypt Panorama Tours in 1990. Iman, who is married and has one daughter, Hind (1988), speaks Arabic, French and English. She enjoys reading, walking, swimming and playing squash and tennis. Iman is also active in the human rights movement. In order to keep abreast of changes, Iman makes hotel inspection trips in Egypt from time to time. Iman likes to communicate with people. She says that she enjoys arranging travel for her clients because she likes to take well-organized trips herself.
